Lowcountry Dog Magazine: Seeking Intern

With Who: Lowcountry Dog Magazine

Dates:  3-6 months, or extended if desired

Position Description:  Ideal candidate is a Communications Major. See below for example tasks and desired skills.

Tasks Will Include: 

  1. Creating and sharing press releases.
  2. Special Project: organize past issues online for new website design.
  3. Help building social media presence.
  4. Social media posts and posting to social groups.
  5. Create blog posts from past magazine articles.
  6. Research and catalog potential content.
  7. Keep events feed updated.
  8. Aid in photo shoots and events when needed.

Skills Desired:  

  1. Knowledge of social media platforms.
  2. Some web design or blog post background.
  3. Excellent writing and grammar.
  4. Self motivation and strong work ethic.
  5. Must love dogs!
