Position Description: (This is a paid internship.) Knowledge Capital Group [KCG] seeks a dynamic, motivated, and detail-oriented student with a healthy desire to grow in a challenging, respectful, and diversified work environment. Qualified candidates will be eager to gain experience by taking on tasks that support the full scope of firm operations. The Intern will interface with all members of the team and will report directly to Kingsley Mooney, Senior Consultant.
If enrolled at a local university, there will be an opportunity to extend the internship into the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with client-related projects by editing and proof-reading presentations and written communication
- Contributes to firm’s social media strategy and maintains firm social media accounts
- Supports internal calendar management and event planning, including team quarterly retreats and outings
- Conducts industry research and analysis
- Enters client and networking contact information into CRM database
- Oversees general office management duties, including monitoring and ordering supplies, local errand running and delivery activities
- Supports staff through scanning, printing, and client deliverable production
- Addresses inbound queries via phone and in-person
Qualifications:
- Enrolled as an incoming Senior at an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a degree in Natural Sciences, Marketing, Business, or similar majors preferred
- Graphic design and web development experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with MS Outlook a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organization skills and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under deadlines/time constraints
- Must have housing accommodations for the summer
