Copywriter Intern-Gold Creations
JOB DESCRIPTION
Gold Creations is a family owned and operated jewelry store located in the historic Charleston Market. We pride ourselves on our “charming” customer service and being a go-to shop for the perfect memento of Charleston.
The Gold Creations copy-writing intern will support the back office team by writing and editing content for different marketing platforms and business materials. The intern will develop a portfolio of published writing samples, refine their writing skills to different audiences, learn to write for a brand voice, and gain valuable experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Draft and edit copy for the following mediums:
-Website and social media
-Advertisements
-Newsletters
-Customer emails
-Operations manual
-Press releases
- Learn the Gold Creations branded voice, and provide copy in that voice.
- Provide content and respond to feedback in a timely manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate would be:
- Excellent writer
- Strong editor
- Highly organized
- Proficient multitasker
- Self-motivated
- Responsive to feedback
- Attentive to detail
- Eager to learn
- Creative and energetic
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
