What an interesting story — thank you for posting! Two interesting moments — one the idea “this is the real world” that one resident argued. I think this is an important idea — who gets to dictate what the ‘real” world is (and why do we often use the phrase “real world” to identify a messed up world? And then the second related to our discussion Wednesday — that the world was too diverse for a narrowly conceived feminist lesbian space to be created — which returns to our questionnaire about preferences and whether we could divide people into multiple, desired, intentional spaces.
