This article served as a great guide to navigating wine bars in France. Last spring, while I was in France, I went to La Grande Cremerie in Paris. I tasted the Menetou-Salon 2020, Domaine Philippe Gilbert which is a 100% sauvignon, biodynamic cert. I felt this wine paired very nicely with the Foie gras because the sauvignon cut through the fattiness of the foie gras.
I would LOVE to go to Paris and try their wine. I have loved all of the French wine that we have tried in class and am definitely now a red wine girl. I think that Paris’ romantic atmosphere also would add to the wine experience!
