pr #3 to william wks from d. montgomery

I did not understand the title, however, the introduction was interesting–“This is life.”

With much sensory and concrete details supplied great mental pictures were formed in the mind and they lingered. It was great to put the scene in a foreign country, but would have been even more intimate if it had been a city or some place even smaller than a city–give an opportunity to relate to the characters more?

The narration seemed to suggest a lot of things/events were happening or about to happen. I coasted along until I came to the ending. It was rhetoric.

Is “faire jaque” being referred to the childhood song–“Are You Sleeping Brother John?” Is it a double entendre? Is it a play on words?

I need HELP?

Your work has a lot of depth.
