This movie follows a class of high school schoolers durning their final year. I am an elephant madame, takes place in 1969 in Breman, Germany and the film is directed by Peter Zadek. The film puts a spotlight on Rull who is a provocateur. He tries to unite his classmates and protest the authoritarian school leaders to make the school, fall under a democratic system,. Whats really unique about this movies the idea that the protest is “youth” inspired. The school age revolt is directed in a humorous manner with dry humor and a bit of drama. Rull is indeed an outcast to the rest of the student body which allows him to be a great leader which is inspiring to younger audiences.
