My name is Chris Fragile and I am an associate professor at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, where I teach in the Physics & Astronomy department. I created the “Physics in Film” course in 2006.
Besides teaching, I have broad research interests in computational astrophysics, particularly numerical simulations of novel hydrodynamic, magnetohydrodynamic (MHD), and radiation MHD effects in astrophysics. Above is a picture of me (far right) with my summer research students (plus a faculty visitor from Poland, back left).
You can visit my homepage http://fragilep.people.cofc.edu/ for more information about my research.
