During the spring semester, I was fortunate to take 27 CofC students to Florence, Italy for study abroad. There, we studied the history of Italy, food and culture, and women’s history. Highlights included visiting Pompeii and exploring the Uffizi museum’s collection of paintings focusing on the Virgin Mary.”
