About the Graduate School
In 1992, the University of Charleston, now called The Graduate School of the College of Charleston, was founded as the graduate program for the College. While its first graduate programs were established in 1972, the Graduate School now offers 17 degrees and eight certificate programs, and coordinates support for the College’s many nationally recognized faculty research programs.
We are an office of six staff members and typically five graduate assistants. We’ll try to post new pages soon with staff bios, but in the meantime you can visit our website for a listing of who does what.
Our office is located in suite 310 of Randolph Hall and is usually open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Every third Monday and Thursday, we offer extended hours and remain open until 7:00 p.m. Before coming, make sure to check the website to verify we’ll be there. We typically don’t offer extended hours during December or on holidays (like Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.)
