The Society for Cinema and Media Studies announces the 2nd annual SCMS Undergraduate Conference, April 18-19, 2014

Next year, the Society for Cinema and Media Studies (SCMS) will host its its second undergraduate conference (SCMS-U) at the University of Oklahoma, April 18-19, 2014. The purpose of the conference is to encourage undergraduate research in the field of film and media studies. Previously known as the Midwest Undergraduate Film and Television Conference, and the Notre Dame Undergraduate Film & Television Conference, the SCMS-U conference had its successful inaugural conference last April at the University of Notre Dame. Film Studies minors and students interested in film are encouraged to submit a proposal for a 20-minute presentation on any aspect of cinema and media studies by midnight EST, January 15, 2014.
