PR to Sarah from d Montgomery “Enjoy the Ride”

The  title of the poem, “Enjoy the Ride”, was interesting but not unusual. Since there are all kinds of rides, the reader was drawn into the poem to find out what ride the poet would be writing about.

The reader was pleasantly surprise. The topic chosen was not what the reader had anticipated. The manner in which the presentation of the subject was given had not been expected either–quite unique.

The diction used in the poem put the reader right into the scene. Irony played between the title and the language of the poem and that was great.

I chuckled as a read the poem–some flight attendant. How long did she/he keep the job?
