pr #4 to Nick L from D Montgomery

The title while not thought provoking, it was interesting and the reader was drawn in to seek and to learn what the poem was about–“I’ve Met the Girl of My Dreams”.

The poem flowed very fluently in telling the story. The first quatrain introduced the subject (character). The second quatrain  provided a description of the subject. The third quatrain described the imagined action (of the speaker). The couplet became the ending and summed up the story very well.

The poem read smoothly (aloud) done in iambic tetrameter.

The rhymes were great;  they were not used haphazardly. The rhymes made the poem work. The poem had the true flavor of an English sonnet. Well done.
