This session will cover the general definitions, file format requirements, etc. related to audio.  We will use Audacity, freeware that is MAC/PC compatible to create, edit and save audio files as an .mp3.  The program is currently available on classroom and lab computers on campus.

This session will cover basic methods of distribution (blog, website, iTunes U) and the requirements for each.  For example, embedding an audio file in your blog or website, creating an RSS feed, and uploading files to College of Charleston iTunes U.

Why would one make a video podcast?  How does one make a video podcast (relatively) easily and inexpensively?  What do I do with my podcast once I have made it?  In this enlightening hands-on Addlestone Session we shall answer these questions and show you how to create and post a video podcast using existing video.

This session will cover Creative Commons, Flickr, and the Center for Social Media.  Topics discussed will include where to get “free” images and audio to use in multimedia work, and guidelines for distributing multimedia on the web.
