Overview
From iTunes “Timeline allows students to create a graphical representation of an event or process by displaying items sequentially along a line. Timelines can be organized by time of day, date, or event, and the tool allows users to create a label with short or long descriptive text. Adding an image for each label makes a timeline more visually appealing.
Created with classroom use in mind, this tool allows users to create their own profile to store their work, making device sharing easier for students in classes which do not have 1-to-1 tablet availability.
Can I delete a date on my timeline that I don’t want anymore.
Yes, you can delete a date on your timeline. Drag that date to the upper left hand side of the screen ( you should see a trash can icon). Once you have dragged it over the trashcan, you will get a pop up asking to confirm the deletion. To delete, tap on the button “Exit” and that will delete the date.
You can also edit a date. Double click/tap an item/date to edit. Here yo can change the date.
And at the top of the screen to the right of the “Save” button is a Question mark icon. If you click on that you will find instructions along with images for the steps above as well.
Hi,
Have you had issues with the Timeline App not saving the final to the camera roll? Our students are on iPad Pros. 2 of the 40 students worked fine, but others had to screen shot their Timeline.
