In this episode, Dr. Mike Gómez, Professor and Chair of Hispanic Studies, talks to Kim Gabuardi (Class of 2007) about her work at Amazon as a Machine Learning Data Operations Manager whose team focuses on providing training data for large language models and other artificial intelligence initiatives. Kim graduated from the College in 2007 with a double major in Corporate Communications and Spanish and a minor in Linguistics and pursued a Master’s in Translation and Interpretation from Rutgers University.
