Charleston City Paper awards to SOTA people and places:
Best Art Gallery Show – “Aldwyth” at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art
Best New Digs – The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art
Best Local Clothing Designer: Carol Hannah Whitfield ’07. Carol Hannah graduated from the College of Charleston in 2007 and was a finalist on Project Runway: Season 6.
Best Jazz Band – Quentin Baxter Jazz Ensemble. Quentin is a music professor at the College.
AND, to top it off the big “Best of” bash took place at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, The Marion and Wayland H. Cato Jr. Center for the Arts and the Simons Center for the Arts, on March 10, 2010.
