Dr. Bing Pan, assistant professor for Hospitality and Tourism Management and head of research in the Office of Tourism Analysis in the School of Business, and his colleagues at other universities, were recently selected by the senior editors at MIS Quarterly for the “Best Paper of 2009.” The paper entitled “Exploring Human Images in Website Design: A Multi-Method Approach” is published in Volume 33, No. 3 (September, 2009) of MIS Quarterly.
“Dr. Pan is getting world-wide recognition for his outstanding research and work in HTM,” says Alan T. Shao, Dean of the School of Business. “The entire HTM department and School of Business benefit from his accomplishment.”
Dr. Pan and the co-authors will be honored for their accomplishment at the ICIS 2010 MISQ Awards luncheon in December. The paper will also be entered into the AIS competition for the best papers of 2009.
