Hangman Also Must Die is a 1942 war film directed by Brecht and Fritz Lang. It was based on the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich during the Nazi invasion of the Czechoslovakia. The directors did a nice job in capturing moments of terror and regret as the characters try to seek out their fate during a time of war and tyrant government. The movie has an atmosphere of extreme paranoia that the cast encounters during this period as well as suspicion during the human resistance. While this film was being created, we realize that the storyline is still being created because no one knows all the details of the assassination yet, so it is up to the directors to get creative with their narrative and plot. This meme is from a scene in the movie where these characters talk about the release of an older man that used to help them out. Together these three man talk to decide wether to let this man live or die.
