Collaborative pairing of each adjunct with an affiliate roster faculty

• mutual teaching observation and discussion afterward
• Faculty discussed syllabi & exchanged ideas on responding to student work
• Each adjunct participated in a public panel discussion  open to all faculty and students.

URST participants participated in a joint event with African American Studies focused on Pedagogy Development.

Teaching assignments & background of URST adjuncts: Teach courses in the URST major. Most adjuncts are veteran teachers and/or have significant professional expertise and full-time careers outside the College. All URST faculty are affiliate faculty who belong to another department.
