The After Slavery website has added a new interactive timeline on Reconstruction in South Carolina. The timeline, which was created by Brian Kelly, Ph.D. of Queens University, Belfast, is the first of many improvements to After Slavery that you will see over the next few months. The project team hopes that this online resource will shed new light on the study of the post-emancipation period in the Palmetto State. You can access the interactive timelines here.
