iTunes U Scheduled Maintenance January 9th, 2012

On Monday, January 9th, between 9PM and 12AM PT, iTunes U Public Site Manager will be inaccessible due to scheduled system maintenance. You will not be able to log in to the iTunes U Public Site Manager during this time. Users will still be able to access iTunes U sites and content during this time.

Outage Notification for Monday, December 19

Network Engineering will be upgrading hardware that connects the J.C. Long Building , Liberty Street Fresh Food Company, and 284 King to the Campus network on Monday, December 19th, 2011 between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM. During this time wired and wireless network connectivity will be intermittent.

Network Engineering

The BATTERY Production environment will be unavailable on Wednesday, December  21, 2011 starting at 11:00 p.m. until Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. for a system upgrade. Note these times are approximate at this time and the duration may be shorter.  Notification will be sent when BATTERY Production is available.

The ODS and Cognos will be unavailable beginning December 21, 2011 at 9:30 p.m. until midnight, January 2, 2012, for an important application upgrade. Please make accommodations to cancel any scheduled reports (or modify the schedule accordingly) and any business processes using Cognos that may normally take place during that time period.

The following applications will not be available during the BATTERY Production outage December 21st  – December 25th. :

IT outage for Sunday Sept. 11

The following applications will have an interruption (less than 1 hour but could be longer) to normal services on Sunday, September 11, 2011 sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for planned system maintenance:

MyCharleston, Banner INB, Banner SSB, Cognos, eProcurement, Touchnet, Resource 25

Weekend System Maintenance for Sunday, February 13

The following applications will have a brief interruption (approximately 10 minutes for each application but could be longer) to normal services on Sunday, February 13, 2011 sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for planned system maintenance:

Blackberry Server, SAMS, Treo Messaging, Tickets Exchange, Liberty Documents, SharePoint, Parking, and Altiris

iTunes U Scheduled Maintenance February 10, 2011

On Thursday, February 10, between 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM EST, iTunes U  will be inaccessible due to scheduled system maintenance. Administrators will not be able to log in to the iTunes U administrative tools and users will not be able to access iTunes U sites or content. This scheduled maintenance is performed by Apple, so the timing is beyond the College’s control. Thank you for your patience during this scheduled maintenance window.

Banner Downtime Sept. 12 and 13

The Banner system will have an interruption to normal service between the hours of 4:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 and noon on Sunday, September 13, 2009 for application upgrades. During this time the following applications will not be available:

  • Banner Finance and Admissions
  • Banner Document Management Systems
  • Banner ePrint
  • Enrollment Management
  • My.cofc.edu

Scheduled Outage: Sunday, August 9, 2009

The Admin System (Wando and Cooper) will be unavailable starting at 9 a.m. until noon for planned system maintenance. The following applications will have an interruption to normal service during this time:
SIS, HRS, FRS Access
– Including Connx, SAS and Eprint interfaces
– Faculty, Student and Staff CougarTrail Web interfaces
– EBill interfaces
– Access to Windows Server Rhett

The Banner Production environment including the MyCharleston portal will be unavailable starting at 7 a.m. until noon for planned system maintenance. Banner Finance will have an interruption to normal service during this time.
