Windows 10 Upgrade Now Available

The Division of Information Technology needs your help transitioning all College-owned desktop and laptop computers to Windows 10 by June 2019, in order to comply with Microsoft’s phase out of Windows 7 support. All classroom, lab, and student-area computers have already been upgraded to Windows 10. In addition, all new computers purchased and any computers reimaged are being loaded with Windows 10. IT is now working area by area to make sure College-owned desktops and laptops receive the upgrade.

Faculty and staff members of the Academic Assessment and Strategic Planning, Avery Center, Building and Equipment Maintenance, Center for Civic Engagement, Center for Disability Services, Center for International Education, Center for Partnerships to Improve Education, Central Energy, Central Stores, Counseling Center, Division of Marketing and Communications, Early Childhood Development Center, Faculty Senate, Governmental Relations, Internal Auditor, Legal Affairs, Multicultural Student Center, Office for the Academic Experience, Office of Equal Opportunity Programs, Office of Institutional Diversity, Office of Institutional Events, Office of the Provost, Public Safety, REACH Program, Riley Center for Livable Communities, Undergraduate Academic Services, Upward Bound are invited to upgrade College-owned desktop and laptop computers now by installing Windows 10 from their computer’s Software Center.
