IT Outage Notification Tuesday June 5, 10:30 PM

Tuesday June 5, 10:30 PM – 2:00 AM


Starting on June 5, 2012 between 10:30 PM and June 6, 2012 2:00 AM,  Network Engineering will conduct maintenance on the hardware connecting the College to the BATTERY network and the Juniper VPN.  During this time network connectivity to and from the BATTERY network, including the MyCharleston ( web portal, the main College webpage (, Banner Finance, HR/PY, Admissions, AR, Student, Financial Aid, Banner Self Service Finance, Employee, and Academic Services, Cognos, ePrint, Banner Relationship Management (BRM), eProcurement, GradesFirst, MAP-Works, UC4, BDMS,  POSM, DegreeWorks, StarRez, WorkFlow, Touchnet, Oaks, Academy1, Echo360, Explorance, and Axiom as well internal and external VPN will be intermittent. This outage does not affect network connectivity to and from the College and the Internet.


Note:  Other networking outages planned for this summer include the weekend of July 20, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. for a campus Internet upgrade.  Details regarding this outage will be sent at a later date.
