Stephen Colbert (Script)  Folks, the establishment may have thwarted my campaign for president of the United States of South Carolina. but there is one moment they can never take away. Last Friday’s rock you like a Herman Cain South-Cain-olina at the College of Charleston. It gave me some of hope to see so many students so willing to skip class on such short notice.

More states betting on casino gambling for jobs, revenue- USA Today

 Authorizing casino gambling is “easy politically right now,” says Douglas Walker, associate professor of economics at South Carolina’s College of Charleston and author of The Economics of Casino Gambling. “People want jobs and they don’t want higher taxes. Legalizing casinos can be argued to create jobs and tax revenues.”

 Cain seems to have no problem acting as the stand-in for Colbert’s satirical campaign. “American needs to lighten up,” Cain said Friday in a speech at Colbert’s “The Rock Me Like a Herman Cain: South Cain-olina Primary Rally” at the College of Charleston.
