South Carolina jobless rate declines slightly- Charleston Post and Courier

College of Charleston economist Frank Hefner echoed that analysis via email from Austria, where he was lecturing Friday. “This is good news,” Hefner said. “These are jobs that do not totally depend on some kind of transfer payments. What we hope is that these are self-generating jobs, and they are sustainable.

Open house set for adult students at C of C- WCIV

Adults who are considering heading back to the classroom can learn a little more about the process Tuesday. The College of Charleston is hosting an adult student open house from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. at the North Charleston campus on International Boulevard.

C of C targets unfinished degrees- Charleston Post and Courier

The College of Charleston is reaching out to adults with an unfinished college degree hanging over their heads. The college is holding an open house tonight for potential adult students at its North Campus, near the Charleston International Airport, said Dorinda Harmon, the college’s director of transfer and adult student admissions.  

C of C launches Italian film fest- Charleston Post and Courier
