Gov. Nikki Haley told College of Charleston students Thursday that she has no problems with cruise ships arriving in the port city recently recognized as the nation’s top place to visit.
Asked her position on the lawsuit filed against a cruise ship line that calls on Charleston, Haley said, “We are now standing in the No. 1 tourist destination in the country. It’s huge for our economy. We finally beat San Francisco.”
