College of Charleston President George Benson gets 3 more years- Charleston Post and Courier

The College of Charleston’s board has extended President George Benson’s contract for three more years. The board last winter voted to give Benson the contract extension, but it didn’t complete legal negotiations until earlier this week. Former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer brings campaign to SC coast- AP

Former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer is bringing his campaign for the presidency to South Carolina. Roemer is scheduled to speak Monday at a town hall campaign event at the College of Charleston.
