Students will give Country Music Marathon the old college try

After spending the semester learning to properly run 26.2 miles, students in the Sport Physiology and Marathon Training class at College of Charleston are headed to Nashville this week to take their final exam on Saturday.

They will attempt to complete the 11th annual Country Music Marathon or Half-Marathon, which will figure heavily into their grade in the unusual class.

Course professor Mike Flynn proudly touts the difficulty that comes with taking his final exam.
