C of C gets gift of software
The College of Charleston has received a gift of a $4.1 million geologic software package from Seismic-Micro Technologies.
Scott Harris, a professor in the Geology and Environmental Geosciences Department, said the Kingdom Suite software commonly is used in the oil and gas industries. Students who know how to use it well will have a leg up on some jobs after they graduate, he said.
