Virtual internships with federal agencies available through Virtual Student Federal Service Program


The
Virtual Student Federal Service Program is offered by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Information Resource Management and is an opportunity for college students to gain internship experience virtually at a federal agency.

The details: This unpaid program runs a full academic year – from September to May. Students dedicate 10 hours per week during their internship.

Who should apply? It’s an opportunity for all majors to gain not only federal experience but also mentoring and networking opportunities that could lead to exciting future careers.

Techstars Startup Day: A 24-hour conference for entrepreneurs

Techstars Startup Day is a free annual conference where new company founders and entrepreneurial community-builders can learn, grow, and connect.

  • This year’s virtual event starts on Tuesday, June 28 at 9:00 a.m. EST and runs for 24-hours.

What to expect: 24-hours of inspiring ideas, lessons learned, and actionable best practices from our global Startup Weekend experts exclusively curated for future founders and community leaders.

Women for Women Summit celebrates and connects women from across South Carolina

The second annual Women for Women Summit presented by the College of Charleston School of Business will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the Francis Marion Hotel.

Summit theme: “Grit,” which is meant to celebrate, elevate, share and connect exceptional women from across the Palmetto State.

Lineup of speakers: Includes women leaders in business, technology and government.

  • Guests will participate in panel discussions, professional workshops, and networking opportunities designed to foster personal and professional growth.
