Earn Your Masters in Teaching from the College

Have you ever considered becoming a teacher but thought it would take too long to earn your degree?

If you have an undergraduate degree in any discipline and want to become an elementary school teacher, the College of Charleston’s accelerated Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T) degree may be the right choice for you.

At the College of Charleston, students in the rigorous and close- knit MAT cohort will learn from top notch professors and their peers in a fast-paced exciting classroom setting while simultaneously enriching their “outside of the classroom” knowledge with meaningful internship and field experiences in local schools.

The College of Charleston is now accepting applications of qualified candidates who desire to earn their master’s degree in teaching and enter the elementary classroom (grades 2-6) as a fully credentialed master’s level teacher in about one year.

The application deadline is April 1. Find more information on the Elementary Education website.
