Neuroscience Research Volunteer Position at MUSC

A research team at MUSC is looking for an undergraduate student willing to volunteer part-time (15-20 hrs/week) in a drug addiction lab. They use a rodent model of heroin self-administration to study the underlying cell-specific mechanisms of relapse disorder. The candidate has to be willing to work with rats. The team uses software analysis to create 3D reconstructions of cells in the brain. Prior research experience is not required, but it is helpful.

Please contact Vivian Chioma at chioma@musc.edu if you’re interesting in participating in this research opportunity.
