BE and/or Honors Engaged Opportunity with Data Initiative that Supports the Intellectual Disabilities Community

Get involved with this School of Business opportunity to gain credit and fulfill your Honors directed requirements, courtesy of graduating Honors student Elise Courtney:

“Hi everyone! My name is Elise Courtney and I am a recent graduate of the College of Charleston. I wanted to share an opportunity that I worked on during my junior and senior year in the Honors College. This project counted as my bachelor’s essay and fulfilled course credits for my major.

In short, it is a data initiative called IDKonnects that supports the intellectual disabilities community. This project has been such a huge part of my college career and has provided me with recognition in the Business School and much success in my job search. It is our hope that this project continues on a path for other students to work on.

We are looking for a student or students to continue this project and the work we have started. Students involved can get course credit hours and/or fulfillment of their bachelor’s project or Honors Engaged project. Please consider! It is such an amazing cause.”
