Dr. Rachel Donaldson, a public historian and historic preservationist, recently led her HIST 590 students in creating a tour of sites relating to slavery and its legacies at the College and in nearby neighborhoods.>
Working from a list generated by the class, each student researched 3-5 sites. Their essays were grouped into tours under such themes as oppression, sites of agency, care and community, fellowship, and resistance.
