The first thing to announce is that today is the LAST DAY to add and/or drop classes from your schedule. After today, any class that you drop will result in a “W” on your transcript. Also, today is the last day to submit a permission to audit form. Makes sure you take care of these tasks if they apply to you.
The second thing (and the thing that makes this Tuesday tough) to announce is that today is the farewell party for Niki Leiva, our Director of Information and Recruitment at the Graduate School. Niki’s last day is Thursday and we are truly sad to see her go. She is joining the staff at Trident Academy and we have no doubt that she will do great things in her new role. Please join our office is bidding her farewell this afternoon from 3:30 to 5:00 in Alumni Hall on the second floor of Randolph Hall.
Niki is not only a staff member of the College of Charleston, but also recent alum of the Graduate School. Completing her Masters of Public Administration, Niki participated in the most recent commencement in December 2012. Professionally, she is one of the hardest workers I know and I feel confident that others would agree. Personally, I have had the opportunity to work with Niki since August of last year. She is one of the most welcoming, helpful, and overall good-spirited people that I have had the opportunity to meet.
