On October 25, 2012, Columbus State University will be hosting its second graduate research conference. The rise of globalization, rapid dissemination of information and increased interconnectivity have drastically changed the dynamic of everyday existence. What challenges will we face in this new world as a result of the ever-growing rise and distribution of technology and increased spread of culture and ideas? Under the broad theme of “Putting the pieces Together? Interdisciplinary Solutions for the Modern World,” Columbus State University is calling for research proposals from all disciplines. Last year’s inaugural conference had over forty participants from 18 institutions from five different states. The deadline for paper submissions is September 7, 2012, and October 1, 2012 for organization of panels. Send your paper and panel proposals to http://gradschool.columbusstate.edu/gradconference.
