Students: GSA Announcements

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to remind you all of some upcoming events this week.

But first, please keep your calendars open for Sat. Feb 21st from 5-8. We are planning a fundraiser/social event with the Chas School of Law, more details to follow soon.

There is a Stingrays game at the North Charleston Coliseum at 7 pm. We will meet outside at 6:45 pm to try and sit together. Tickets are only $5. If you would like to carpool up there, please let me know and I’ll see who we get and try to put something together.

Second, the graduate poster research session is on Thurs from 4-6:30 pm. Come support your fellow grad students and learn about what other research is going on in our community. Stern Center Ballroom

Third, there are two basketball games coming up. Thurs at 7 pm and Sat at 4 pm. Let’s try to make a large showing of the grad students at these games. Remember, tickets are free with your CofC ID.

Finally, this week is homecoming at the College. And this year it is all about going green. Here are some free events that you can take part in:

Monday 26th @7pm

If you have questions about any of the other events, let me know. I hope to see you at one or all of the upcoming events.

One last thing. The calendar has been updated on the google group. Don’t forget to check it.
