- Kathy Béres Rogers published an article in Literature and Medicine: “The Monstrous Idea in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein”
- Joe Kelly’s Marooned: Jamestown, Shipwreck, and a New History of America’s Origin was published by Bloomsbury Press in October 2018
- Myra Seaman continues to edit Postmedieval, bringing four more issues to print in 2018 on the following topics: Premodern Plants; Queer Manuscripts; Medieval Intersex: Language and Hermaphroditism; and What a World! The first issue of 2019 is Prophetic Futures, an issue guest co-edited by CofC English alum Joseph Bowling (‘10), who earned his PhD at CUNY and is now an Associate Lecturer in English at the University of Wisconsin
