New Special Issue of Literacy in Composition Studies Just Released

Literacy in Composition Studies, an open-acesss journal co-edited by Chris Warnick (with editorial assistance provided by CofC M.A. student Colleen Etman), recently released its first special issue. Guest edited by Ben Kuebrich, Jessica Pauszek, and Steve Parks, The New Activism: Composition, Literacy Studies, and Politics explores how the field of Composition, which typically has constructed composition and literacy activism in terms of language rights, must now more fully engage with political literacies of the current moment – both by situating theoretical paradigms in a global framework and by attending to technologically-driven activist practices.
