Creative Writing Graduate Signs Two-novel Contract

Ryan Graudin, a Creative Writing concentrator and English Major who graduated from the College in 2009, has just signed a two book contract with HarperTeen, the young adult imprint of HarperCollins. Her first novel, Luminance Hour, will appear in the summer of 2013. Ms. Graudin graduated from the Charleston County School of the Arts, studying there with Marjorie Wentworth and Rene Miles; while at the College she worked with Paul Allen, Bret Lott, Malinda McCollum and Anthony Varallo. Our department is so very proud of her, and we all look forward to the publication of her novel — congratulations, Ryan!
