Internship Description
Island Sport, LLC owns and operates four retail stores and a wine bar in Freshfields Village on Kiawah Island, SC, one store in Greenville, SC, and one store in Naperville, IL. We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our already dynamic team who has the following qualifications:
INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with in store events as needed.
- Assist with promotional tasks including social media, email campaigns, print/digital advertising, etc.
- Maintain and update web presence.
- Assist with product imagery.
- Distribute marketing materials to local businesses.
- Brainstorm and carry out new ideas to aid in business growth.
- Report on social media metrics.
INTERN REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate must be:
- Currently in college.
- Working toward a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Public Relations.
- Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to learn other software programs.
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms.
- Able to work independently and as part of team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- A self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
