FYE in Italy: Let’s Eat in Italy and Write About it Too (Spring Break)

Program Dates and Fee:

March 4 – March 11, 2022 | $2,695* (subject to change and does not include tuition)

Students take the following courses:

  •  FYET – Let’s Eat in Italy, and Write About it Too (1 credit)

Program Description:

Visit Italy and experience the culture through its world-renowned cuisine. We’ll explore—and write about—the food of Tuscany and Umbria, “the green heart of Italy,” from farm to table. We’ll take cooking classes from a world-renowned chef, meet the most famous butcher in the world, dine on legendary dishes with histories reaching back millennia, even help make pecorino—sheep’s cheese—on a cheesemaker’s farm, enjoying all the while the best food in the world.

Please Note:

  • FYE Abroad courses do not count towards the FYE graduation requirement
  • Earn CofC elective credit towards graduation
  • Does not impact tuition rate if enrolled full time (12-18 credits) during the spring semester
  • FYE courses will be open to sophomores for 2022
