Hi! My name is Darby Watford and I am a rising junior in the Honors College, double majoring in Psychology and German with a minor in Neuroscience. I am in the Summer Internship in Germany Program, and my internship is at an orthopedic practice in Berlin. I chose this program because I wanted to fully immerse myself in the German language to advance my language skills while also gaining professional skills. For this program my goals were to learn as much as I could while giving myself grace, and to explore Berlin and Germany to really experience the culture. Before leaving home, I researched must-do things in Berlin and places to explore in Germany.
