I am an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the College of Charleston, located in the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina.

I am partly a quantitative psychologist, and partly a cognitive psychologist.  My research focuses on statistics (quantitative) and human judgments about statistics (cognitive). I specialize in the  analysis of non-normal data.  The image at the top of this website shows an extreme example of such data.  I also have broad-ranging interests in memory and decision-making.
