Drs. Harry and Michele Elam to give lecture at Avery Research Center on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 5pm
Harry J. Elam Jr., the Freeman-Thornton Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education at Stanford University and Michele Elam, Martin Luther King Jr. Centennial Professor at Stanford University will discuss the impact Obama and race in the wake of his candidacy and subsequent election to president as the first African American to hold the office.
The event is free and open to the public.
