As we reach the half-way point in the Spring semester, the Academic Advising and Planning Center would like to draw your attention to two very special advising opportunities that we will be hosting in the coming weeks!

Mid-term Grades | March 10 – 12

Mid-term grades will be posted in MyCharleston at noon on Monday, March 10. We hope that you are pleased with your academic progress thus far in the semester. If, however, you have any concerns regarding your mid-term grades and how to best move forward with the remainder of the semester, you may want to speak with your Academic Advisor. Your Academic Advisor is holding time on his/her calendar just for this purpose! Contact your advisor via email to schedule a time to talk about your next steps.

Walk-In Advising Hours | March 20 – 21

The last day to withdraw with a grade of “W” for a spring semester course is Friday, March 21. If you are considering a course withdrawal it is important that you make an informed decision. There are many components to consider such as financial aid, scholarships, housing, and insurance, among other things, and your decision should not be made lightly. We invite you to come to the Academic Advising and Planning Center during our special Walk-In Advising Hours for withdrawal questions or concerns on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21 from 9:00am to 4:00pm!

Please let us know if we can assist you in any way! Please note that these special advising opportunities will not replace your mandatory advising appointment for the Spring semester. Schedule an appointment with your advisor early to prevent any delay in course registration for the Fall 2014 semester!
