Job Ad: Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities: Lamington Co is a digital marketing agency specializing in food, beverage and lifestyle brands. Founded by Vicki Morton in 2014, Lamington Co. works to bring brands to life online. We act as both a strategic and creative resource to our clients. We work closely with our brand partners to learn what works best for them – and why.

Our marketing coordinator will have first hand exposure to the many facets of marketing, working with food, beverage and lifestyle brands both big and small. The right candidate will be excited to work with a range of brands, and learn all about various marketing functions. This is an opportunity to grow within a small team with a big vision and work with some well-known brands. You’ll have the chance to work with national brands like Terra Chips, Garden of Eatin’ Chips, Greek Gods Yogurt, and MaraNatha Nut Butters.

The Role

  • Post on social media accounts
  • Maintain a content calendar for social media
  • Monitor and respond to all notifications
  • Prepare reports
  • Research projects

You:

  • You’re the friend who’s always sending memes in the group chat
  • You’re up to date on the latest trends, news, and viral content
  • You follow more meme accounts than you really should
  • You’re the kind of person that can’t have any red bubble notifications
  • Your reaction gif game is unmatched
  • You find it fun to earn internet points
  • You’re well aware of the line between relatable and “fellow kids”

Requirements:

  • Be a current undergraduate student or recent graduate in the USA
  • Experience with major social media platforms
  • Passion for food

Desired skills: Social media, copy writing, design
