About The Role

Do you know all the ins and outs of SEO? Are you extremely data-driven? Are you strategic-minded yet comfortable executing content optimizations? If so, this role may be a perfect match for you.

The SEO and Digital Content Specialist aims to increase the reach and impact of our website and social media channels. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise, along with persona-building research and data analysis (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) to recommend topics, improvements and schedules for social media and web content. This role aims to organically build relevant traffic, outrank the competition on target keywords, and improve audience experiences.

Responsibilities

    • Use ongoing research and data analysis to assess, track, and improve the value, rank and reach of digital content (website, social media, etc.)
    • Perform ongoing keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
    • Perform ongoing competitive research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
    • Provide ongoing SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
    • Create, manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
    • Manage and track social media performance
    • Develop and implement link building programs
    • Serve as our resident SEO specialist, offering tips and instruction to team members and compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
    • Stay up-to-date on search engine changes and algorithm updates and communicate changes to the team
    • Maintain effective communication with team members

 

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Prior successful experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO
    • Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
    • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work within a team and independently
    • Highly proficient with Google Analytics
    • Experience using WordPress
    • Experience with website optimization tools
    • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
    • Experience in B2B digital marketing
    • Experience in software / SaaS a plus
