Come out to the annual MLK Day Parade on Monday, January 21! For participants, the parade lineup will begin at 8 AM and for the audience, the parade will begin at 10:30 AM, rain or shine.
The parade route will run from Burke High School along Fishburne Street, then north to Sumter Street, east along Sumter Street to King Street, and then south to Marion Square, turning east onto Calhoun Street.
Last year, 128 bands, marchers, floats, and groups marched in the MLK Parade as an estimated audience of 3,000 cheered them on and NBC WCBD News 2 covered the event live. WCBD News will again cover the parade live and will also live-stream it. Our thanks to the Count on 2 News team!
